Clovis Unified School District is located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco; Clovis Unified School District is situated at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. Clovis Unified School District has twenty-nine elementary schools, four middle schools, and five high schools. Clovis Unified School District serves the city of Clovis, northeast Fresno and sections of the unincorporated neighborhoods.

 

Parents wishing to enroll their children in the Clovis Unified School District should know about requirements including age requirements and immunization policies. All kindergarten students must have his or her fifth birthday on or before December second of the school year. Clovis Unified School District immunization requirements have many details including proof of to-date Polio, Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis, and immunizations against measles, mumps, and rubella. Additionally, children must have proof of vaccination against chicken pox. The three-shot Hepatitis B series is mandatory for all students entering both Kindergarten and 7th grade. There must also be proof of a TB screening before a student may be admitted to Clovis Unified School District classes.
